Excellent advice. We're not doing gifts this year in our immediate family, and it feels so great. (We're getting a Wii instead.) And since we're going to Florida the first week of January, we're not traveling or hosting anyone at Christmas, so we're going to spend part of the day delivering meals on wheels. (And one day, we'll spend the day volunteering at the soup kitchen, but the kids are too young for that just yet.) Instead of making lists and being stressed, I'm really excited. I think it's going to be a really nice holiday.
